ON RICE — VOL. 01 · By Chef Courtney Jean

Food, sake, and connection.

This November 13, I’m opening my home to just ten guests for an intimate evening of food, sake, and connection beside my flower garden in Topanga Canyon.

ON RICE — VOL. 01 is a multi-course exploration of rice and the many shapes, textures, and flavors it can take. From the simplest grain to unexpected culinary expressions, each course celebrates the beauty and versatility of this humble ingredient.

Throughout the evening, we’ll enjoy a thoughtfully curated sake tasting and pairings by Sake Secret, based in Long Beach, featuring locally crafted sake.

Dinner will be served on handcrafted ceramics by Rivers, a ceramic artist from Malibu Canyon, bringing another layer of artistry and intention to the table.

A gathering of just ten guests, surrounded by flowers, thoughtful food, beautiful ceramics, and good company.
